Voici une commande réalisée pour Pascal, qui me renouvelle sa confiance pour une seconde construction sur mesure après sa Dany.

Contrairement à la première fois, Pascal avait une idée précise de ce qu'il souhaitait :

- une guitare basée sur la Lucille de BB King

- un format plus petit proche de la ES339

- un diapason type Fender

- un manche vissé

- une finition rouge

Un mois après avoir passé commande et une longue réflexion : changement de plan...

Pourquoi ne pas faire une forme Telecaster en gardant les idées de base et lui ajouter la finition dont il est tombé amoureux, le cherry burst emblématique de la Les Paul.

Voici les choix effectués:

De l'érable sycomore pour le corps et la table. Sa sonorité accentue les hauts médiums et les aigues, tout en gardant des basses articulées. Des notes précises en toutes occasions.

Un corps chambré dans le style des Thinlines. Evider le corps permet une perte de poids  mais également un son plus rond et chaud, grâce à une accentuation des moyennes.

Le chevalet Faber favorise la transmission des vibrations grâce à son système tone-lock tandis que ses pontets en titane et laiton donnent des basses percussives et des aigues rondes.

Un set de micros Q pickups PAF alnico 3 pour un son chaud, doux et riche en harmoniques qui restitue avec précision les caractéristiques sonores de ces premiers humbuckers tant appréciés.

Un profile de manche fin. La touche a un radius compensé de 10-17" et des frettes larges pour un confort maximum.

Un truss rod double action et des renforts de manche en paulownia pour un réglage fin et une stabilité de manche parfaite.

Pour le bois du manche, notre choix s'est fixé sur de l'érable flammé torréfié pour son visuel et ses caractéristiques sonores.

L'ajout d'une touche en ébène apporte un visuel fort et une son précis.

Why not a Telecaster shape keeping the basic ideas and adding the finish he fell in love with, the iconic cherry burst of the Les Paul.

Here are the choices made :

Sycamore maple for the body and the top. Its sound accentuates the high mids and highs, while maintaining articulate bass. Precise notes for all occasions.

A chambered body in the style of the Thinlines. Hollowing out the body allows for weight loss but also a rounder and warmer sound, thanks to an accentuation of the midrange.

The Faber bridge promotes the transmission of vibrations thanks to its tone-lock system while its titanium and brass saddles provide percussive bass and rounded treble.

A set of PAF alnico 3 from Q pickups for a warm, smooth and harmonic-rich sound that accurately reproduces the sonic characteristics of these much-loved early humbuckers.

A thin neck profile. The fingerboard has a compensated radius of 10-17" and wide frets for maximum comfort. A double action truss rod and paulownia neck reinforcements for fine adjustment and perfect neck stability. For the wood of the neck, our choice settled on roasted flamed maple for its visual and sound characteristics. The addition of an ebony fingerboard provides a strong visual and precise sound.
